St. Vincent de Paul Thanksgiving Food Drive &
Call for Volunteers
Hundreds of our neighbors in the Brazos Valley struggle to have enough food for their families, or pay their bills. Lack of enough affordable housing, good paying jobs, and uncertain health care is a daily disaster situation for them. Every Thanksgiving season, Catholic parishioners have an opportunity to assist our neighbors in a simple, meaningful way. A yearly effort of the St. Vincent de Paul Society provides 200+ low or no-income families with groceries for their Thanksgiving meal. How can you help?
This year, in effort to keep everyone safe and healthy during a pandemic, we are unable to have large gatherings of volunteers for Bag Distribution, Sorting, Bagging, and Deliveries.
For the 2020 Thanksgiving Food Drive, we are seeking monetary donations to provide each family with non-perishable food as well as a grocery gift card for perishable food.
$25 Provides non-perishable food to a small family.
$40 Provides non-perishable food to a large family.
$25 Provides a gift card to families for perishable items including a turkey, eggs, milk, etc.
